“Ana is a generous, undeniable talent and mind in the film industry. Her leadership, whether as a post-supervisor or director, is characterized by her control, generosity, and artistic empathy. She is not only a powerhouse of a creative, but also of a person. Any creative team would be lucky to have her.”
—Carson Zuck (Composer)
Ana was a key collaborator and creative partner in our short film Introducing Mimi. She originally joined as a producer who resonated with our story about language learning and identity. She was very involved during pre-production and offered valuable perspective through our casting process, crew assembly, location scouts, and general logistic meetings. On set, she acted as our AD and impressively handled being kind yet firm when it came to keeping us on schedule and keeping spirits up. In post, she served as our assembly editor, showing her strengths both organizationally and creatively. She color coded and labeled different files and scenes, making it easy for us to provide feedback and pass on the files to other post-production collaborators. When we pointed out a problem where we didn’t have coverage of a scene, Ana was able to translate the solution into an edit. Our film wouldn’t be the same without Ana’s contributions throughout every stage of the project, and we are so thankful for the creative partnership and collaboration we’ve had with her!
